Bergen orgelsommer - Bergen International Organ Festival - Randi Mortensen in the Cathedral

Randi Elisabeth Mortensen is cathedral organist and cantor at Odense Cathedral (St. Canute’s Church). She made her debut at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Aarhus in 1997.

Randi Elisabeth Mortensen ist Domorganistin und Kantorin am Dom zu Odense (St.-Knuds-Kirche). Ihr Debüt legte sie 1997 am Jütländischen Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus ab.

The Rieger organ from 1997 in Bergen Cathedral is one of the largest organs in Norway. The instrument conveys both sublime poetry and the full power of the organ symphony, all within a church acoustic distinguished by clarity.

Die Rieger-Orgel von 1997 im Dom zu Bergen gehört zu den größten Orgeln Norwegens. Das Instrument vereint erhabene Poesie mit der Fülle der Orgelsinfonik – eingebettet in eine Kirchenakustik, die sich durch besondere Klarheit auszeichnet.
