Erling With Aasgård  (*1968) comes from Surnadal in Nordmøre. He studied organ and church music in Trondheim, and further studies took him to Stuttgart and Amsterdam. He completed his diploma in organ at the “Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst” Stuttgart in 1991, his soloist diploma in organ at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music in 1993 and his diploma in harpsichord at the MH Stuttgart in 1995. He had his public debut concert at the Oslo Concert Hall in 1991. Among his most important teachers are Jon Laukvik, Jacques van Oortmerssen, Nicolas Kynaston, David Sanger and Gustav Leonhardt. From 1991 to the present day he has been performing extensively as an organist and harpsichordist in Norway and abroad. His specialty is J.S. Bach's organ music as well as the symphonic organ music of composers such as Max Reger, César Franck, Charles-Marie Widor and Louis Vierne. In 2012 he performed all of Bach's organ works and sonatas for solo instruments and obbligato harpsichord, spread over 16 concerts on the Wagner organ in Trondheim. He has also performed all of Vierne's six organ symphonies in, among other places, Stuttgart, Bodø, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm and Helsinki. Aasgård has been cathedral oragnist in Molde and Nidaros Cathedral as well as organist in several churches in Trondheim. He has worked as a college lecturer in organ performance at the Music Conservatory, NTNU (Trondheim) from 1998-2025.

Bergen international Organ Festival - 29 June till 24 August
Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, respectively in Bergen Cathedral, St. Mary's Church and St. John's Church. In addition, concerts in Nykirken (the new Church) and St. Paul's church.


Bergen Orgelsommer - 29. juni til 24. august. Søndager, tirsdager og onsdager i henholdsvis Bergen domkirke, Mariakirken og Johanneskirken. Konserter også i Nykirken og St. Pauls kirke.
