Bergen Orgelsommer - Bergen International Organ Festival - Henrik Skærbæk Jespersen
Henrik Skærbæk Jespersen (DK) plays the Rieber organ in Bergen Cathedral.

HENRIK SKÆRBÆK JESPERSEN is the cathedral organist and Director of Music at Haderslev Cathedral, where he is head of a musical life with concert on the cathedral’s three organs and extensive choral work with around 200 singers divided into different choirs.
Henrik took over the position as Cathedral Organist in 2011 at the age of 31. He has continuously developed his organ playing through master classes with leading European organists.
He is a very active musician and has given concerts as a conductor and organ soloist in most of Europe and in the USA - among others Hallgrim Church in Reykjavik, Westminster Abbey London, Linzer Mariendom, Oslo Cathedral.
In addition to playing the organ, Henrik is the conductor and founder of the Haderslev Boys' Choir, artistic director of the Haderslev Sangakademi, and he has a large educational work that is important for many young people who start playing the organ. Something that contributed to him receiving the Frobenius Foundation's big prize of DKK 250,000 in 2020.
Bergen international Organ Festival - 29 June till 24 August
Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, respectively in Bergen Cathedral, St. Mary's Church and St. John's Church. In addition, concerts in Nykirken (the new Church) and St. Paul's church.
Bergen Orgelsommer - 29. juni til 24. august. Søndager, tirsdager og onsdager i henholdsvis Bergen domkirke, Mariakirken og Johanneskirken. Konserter også i Nykirken og St. Pauls kirke.
